Hello. Yes, I'm Heather Reyes ...

I'm a writer and editor but over the last couple of years I've been very much occupied with running OXYGEN BOOKS, an independent publishing company which I co-founded with Malcolm Burgess in 2008.

We publish the city-pick collections of city writing - an original kind of guide book that aims to 'get under the skin' of a city through the words of writers of all kinds, though mainly modern and contemporary. We use everything from Proust to bloggers (but only the best ones).

So far we've published books on Paris, London, Berlin, Dublin, Amsterdam and Venice. Now we're working on New York and Istanbul. You can find out more by visiting our company website at www.oxygenbooks.co.uk .
